Information About Our Milpitas Swim Facility

What sets Milpitas Star Aquatics & Fitness apart from other swim facilities?

We are able to provide a world-class-caliber coaching team. Abi Liu has worked tirelessly to develop a helpful and productive coaching system that makes learning to swim easier. Thanks to years of experience, teaching, and researching, we have developed specialized drills to develop water safety, enhanced stroke, learning skills, and more. Each instructor is certified in First Aid and CPR and has been trained by Abi Liu.

You are also able to make use of our swim facility that is 12,500 Sq.Ft. and sits on over an acre of land. We have two swimming pools and a state of the art exercise studio. This is one of the largest indoor swimming facilities in the South Bay. Our technologically advanced facility is climate controlled to allow for swimming and training all year long.

How do long and short classes differ?

We offer shorter class times for younger children. This is done specifically to maximize their learning experience by offering a class with a constant flow that keeps them engaged and stimulated both mentally and physically. For students who are more experienced, we offer longer class times that allow them to practice more and focus on developing specialized skills and techniques.

Which level should my child be enrolled in?

We offer clear objectives for each level of level of swimming skills. If your child is able to complete every task in the level, they can be enrolled in the next level.

My child is able to complete all the skills in the Killer Whale level by they don’t want to join the swim team. Is there a class level for them?

We are able to offer your child several options when they are at this stage of their swimming development. They are able to join the pre-competitive level, which is a one-hour long class. You can also enroll your child in semi-private or private lessons. This allows the instructor to teach more intricate and advanced skills that correspond with your child’s needs.
